California Budget Bites

Governor Brown delivers his 2012 State of the State address tomorrow morning, laying out his vision and priorities for California and discussing the key issues facing the state. As part of Capital Public Radio’s coverage, CBP Executive Director Jean Ross will join a panel discussion following the Governor’s remarks. The state of the state leaves room for improvement, in light of a $26.4 billion budget shortfall and unemployment that continues on the high side of 12 percent. I’ll be on Capital Public Radio at 5:00 p.m. this evening offering commentary on the Governor’s state of the state.
