Dear Ms. Ross, I'm so impressed by your work and what the California Budget Project is all about. I have been concerned about our State's budgetary choices for many years. I would love to work for your agency. As a former State employee (administrator for Dept. on Aging), teacher and grantwriter I have considered applying in the past(I will keep an eye on your emails for any future positions for which I might be qualified) I'm currently working on a masters degree in Educational Technology from CSUS and would love to use my skills in helping CBP in its efforts to improve the budget process and to make its results more equitable. Keep up the good work. Some of us citizens do really appreciate it, even though it seems like such an uphill battle. Brian Reeves

Thank you, Jean Ross. Once again you have said it clearly and without rancor--simply stating the facts. I hope the legislators are listening and will find the backbone to vote no on this flawed deal!
